MINUTES of the previous meetings were read, anion motion of M~.To¢

the Municipal Board.

Township not at fault.

MOVED by M~. Bu~k, seconded by Mr. 'Todd, that the Township
cha~ge the Federation of Agriculture $50.00 for collecting
$782.00 on 1948 Tax Roll. , C..,.ARRIED.
MOVED by Mr. Disney, seconded by Mr. Burk, that a grant of
~J~0 (Fifty Dollars) be given'the Poppy ~Fund, Canadian
Legion of South Picketing.
'MOVED by Mr. Bu~k, seconded by Mr. Disney, that as Central
~F~age and Housing Corporation had recommended a six to
twelve months hoist to the Township taking over Ajax, 'this
be approved by this Council. CARRIED.
MOVED by Mr. Disney, seconded by Mr. Todd, that the Clerk
prOCeed to ~lose a short unopened street south of Cla~emont
station.
MOVED by Mr. Burk, seconded by Mr. Disney, that the Township
en-~.vor to secure an extension of the Social Service agreement
as entered into for the years 1948 and 1949. CARRIED.'
