F~a~rgent meeting,S. 10 a.m. All present but Mr..Burk.
A Special Meeting was ealled by the Reeve relative~e the Purchase
of a ChamplonMalntaiaer, which was stated by agent te be available
May 15th next instead ef waiting for the Adams which may not be
delivered for some time. A motion was ~a~e by Dr. McEwen that an
order be given Champion for a maintainer providing delivery could
be guaranteed by May 15th or. 20th, but as there was no seconder, it
was not put to a vote.
Moved by Mr. Disney, seconded by Mr. Balsdon that the present main-
tainer be operated as ~y hours per day as possible, that a second
M~.,tlema operator be hired and that the Road Superintendent be authorized te
rent a multiple drag if available. Carried.
Moved by Dr. McEwen, seconded by Mr. Balsdom, that first m~lntalner
operator be l~id 75~ per hour as his working ~o~u~slwill be cut.
Carried.
Clerk's 1. Write Ad~as for approximate date of delivery of new~aln-
I~s~ruetions tainer.
2. Insure snow fence .for fire protection for $9,000.00.
