Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 2511,
• as amended, to implement the Official Plan of\the City.of Pickering, -
Region of Durham, on Part of Lot.19, Range 3., B.F.C., Part 1,
40R-8832 and Part 1•,.40R-10527, in the City of Pickering
(A 12/16)
Whereas the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering passed By-law 6974/09
amending By=law 2511 to broaden the range of employment uses in addition to the
existing employment uses in Part of Lot 19, Range 3, B.F.C., Part 1, 40R-8832 and
Part 1, 40R-10527, in the City of Pickering;
And whereas By-law 6974/09 includes an "(H)" Holding Symbol preceding the"MC-21"
zone category on Part of Lot 19, Range 3, B.F.C, Part 1, 40R;8832 and Part 1,
40R-10527, in the City of Pickering, which has the effect of preventing development of
the subject lands until such time as an appropriate Agreement has been-executed with
and to the satisfaction of the City of Pickering to address stormwater management
facilities; and the Region of Durham has advised the City of Pickering that the Regional,
requirements respecting the submission of a reliance agreement letter has been
completed to the satisfaction of the Region;
And whereas the City of Pickering Engineering & Public Works Department has advised
that a City stormwater management facility is no longer required on the subject lands;
_ And whereas the Region of Durham has advised that the site contamination
requirements will be dealt with appropriately through the Site Plan Approval process
(S 09/08 (R16));
And whereas an amendment to amending By-law 6974/09, to remove the "(H)" Holding
Symbol preceding the "MC-21" Zone on Part of Lot 19, Range 3, B.F.C., Part 1,
40R-8832 and Part 1, 40R-10527, is therefore deemed appropriate;
Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as
follows:
1: Schedule I
Schedule I to By-law 6974/09, is hereby amended by removing the `(H)" Holding
Symbol preceding the "MC-21" Zone designation on Part of Lot 19, Range 3,
B.F.C., Part 1, 40R-8832 and Part 1, 40R-10527, as set outon-Schedule I
attached hereto.
2. Text Amendment
Section 5.(3) of By-law 6974/09 is hereby repealed.

3. Area Restricted
By-law 2511, as amended by By-law 6974/09, is hereby further amended only to
the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law as set out in
Sections 1. and 2. above, and as set out in Schedule I attached hereto.
Definitions and subject matter not specifically dealt with in this by-law shall be
governed by the relevant provisions of By-law 2511, as amended.
4. Effective Date •
This By-law shall come into force in accordance with the provisions of the
Planning Act.
