A meeting of the Pickering Township
Council was held on WEDNESDAY,
NOVEMBER ll, 1970, at 8 p.m.

BY-LAWS
By-Law Number 3869/70 Third Reading
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-law as
read.
Councillor V. Rudik, seconded by Councillor D. Kitchen,
moves that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law
Number 3869/70, to amend By-law No. 3037, be adopted, and
that the said By-law be now read a Third Time and PASSED,
that the Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the
Corporation be affixed thereto.

By-Law Number 3900/70 Third Reading
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-law as
read.
Deputy Reeve G. Ashe, seconded by Councillor R. Chatten, moves
that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law
Number 3900170, to amend By-law 3036, be adopted, and that
the said By-law be now read a Third Time, and PASSED, that
the Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the
Corporation be affixed thereto.

By-Law Number 3904/70
Councillor R. Chatten, seconded by Councillor J. Kruger, moves
for leave to introduce a By-law of the Township of Pickering
to amend By-law 3037, and that same now be read a first
time.
Councillor R. Chatten, seconded by Councillor Mrs. J. L.
McPherson, moves that By-law Number 3904/70 to amend By-law
3037, be now read a second time, and that Council go into
Committee of the Whole thereon.
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-law as
read.
Councillor R. Chatten, seconded by Deputy Reeve G. Ashe, moves
that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Number
2904/70 be adopted, and that the said By-law be now read a
Third Time and PASSED, that the Reeve and Clerk sign the same
and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto.

moves for leave to introduce a By-law of the Townsllip of
Pickering to amend By-law 3036, and that same now be
read a first time.
Councillor J. Kruger, seconded by Deputy Reeve G. Ashe,
moves that By-law Number 3905/70 to amend By-law )036 be
now read a second time, and that Council go into Committee
of the Whole thereon.
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-law
as read.
Councillor J. Kruger, seconded by Councillor R. Chatten,
moves that the rePQrt of the Committee of the Whole on
By-law Number 3905/70 be adopted, and that the said By-law
be now read a Third Time and PASSED, that the Reeve and
Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be
affixed thereto.

By-Law Number 3906/70
Councillor Mrs. J. L. McPherson, seconded by Councillor
V. Rudik, moves for leave to introduce a By-law of the
Township of Pickering to authorize execution of an agreement
of Offer to Sell dated the 12th day of November, 1970,
(Mary Lucy Pedrick), and that same now be read a first time.
Councillor Mrs. J. McPherson, seconded by Councillor
R. Chatten, moves that By-law Number 3905/70 to authorize
execution of an agreement of Offer to Sell be now read a
second time, and that Council go into Committee of the
Whole thereon.
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-law
as read.
Councillor Mrs. J. McPherson, seconded by Councillor
D. Kitchen, moves that the report of the Committee of the
Whole on By-law Number 3906/70 be adopted!.. and that the
said By-law be now read a Third Time and ~ASSED, that the
Reeve and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the
Corporation be affixed thereto.

ADJOURNMENT

Moved by Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Deputy Reeve
Ashe that Council now adjourn to reconvene into Committee
of the Whole on Fire at 8:10 p.m.
