COUNCIL MEETING
A meeting of the Pickering Township
Council was held on WEDNESDAY, the

RESOLUTIONS
Resolution '288/71
Chassis
MOVED by Councillor R. Chatten, seconded by
Councillor J. S. Scott, that the tender for the
1500 gallon tank and truck chassis be awarded
to the following:
1500 Gal. Tank - Mobile Tank Industries
at $3,960.94
- G.M.C. Truck Centre
at $6,199.44

for a total of
As recommended by the Committee of the Whole
Council.

Resolution '289/71
MOVED by Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Councillor
J. S. Scott, that the By-law Department be
provided with a sum of $2,400.00 from the General
Contingency Fund for the purchase of two Motorola
communication systems and installation of
partitions for the relocation of the By-Law
Department. The said funds will be a charge to:
By-Law Capital - $1,800.00
Parks g Recreation Capital - 600.00

Reeve J. R. Williams that this meeting of
Council do now adjourn to reconvene into
Committee of the Whole in Public Utilities
at 8:30 P.M.
