A special meeting of Council was convened to review a Planning
Report. 1253, on the subject of the amendment to By-law 8086
by By-I- 3978/71 to zone 02 ..one to C2 pel'lDitting the. develop-
ment of 'the. Sheridan Kall coaplex and whether this report
should be submitted to the Ontario Municipal Board in suppovt
of the Township's stand against the objeQtion raised by Bay
Ridges PIau on 'the rezoning.
The Council conaidetted the report, but deferred adop'tiOA of
it unot!l adopted and recOIDJII8Aded to Council by the PI_ine.
Board where it i8 hoped further clarification on 'the subject
can be made by Hr. J. Faulkner.

MOVED by Councillor J. S. Scott, seconded by Deputy
Reeve G. Ashe, that Council do not consider the
objection raised to by-law 3978/71 amending By-law 3036
to be valid, and tha1: Council proceed wi1:b the suba18.ion
of its application to the Ontario Municipal Board with
respect to 'the objection to the rezoning application 'to
perm! t the development of the Sheridan Hall.
