COUNCIL MEETING
A meeting of the Pickering Township
Council was held on MONDAY, the
Twenty-Ninth day of MARCH, 1971,
at 8:00 P.M.

BY-LAWS
By-L~w Number 3967/71 - (Third Reading)
Councillor R. Chatten, seconded by Councillor Mrs. J. L.
McPherson, moves that the report of the Committee of the
Whole on By-law Number 3967/7l~ to authorize the execution
of an agreement between the Township of Pickering a~d
Kuno E. Stockelbach, be adopted, and that the said By-law
be now read a Third Time and PASSED, that the Reeve and Clerk
sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed
thereto.

By-Law Number 3977/71
Deputy Reeve G. Ashe, seconded by Councillor R. Chatten,
moves for leave to introduce a By-law of the Township of
Pickering to amend the Official Plan of the Township of
Pickering, Amendment #17, and that same now be read a
first time.
Deputy Reeve G. Ashe, seconded by Councillor D. Kitchen,
moves that By-law Number 3977/71 to amend the Official Plan
of the Township of Pickering, Amendment #17 be now read a
second time, and that Council go into Committee of the Whole
thereon.
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-law as
read.
beputy Reeve G. Ashe, seconded by Councillor J. S. Scott,
moves that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law
Nubmer 3977/71 be adopted, and that the said By-law be
now read a Third' Time and PASSED, that the Reeve and Clerk
sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed
thereto.

By-Law Number 3978/71 (Two Readings Only)
Councillor J. S. Scott, seconded by Councillor D. Kitchen,
moves for leave to introduce a By-law of the Township of
Pickering to amend 3036 as amended, and that same now be
read a first time.
Councillor J. S. Scott, seconded by Deputy Reeve G. Ashe
moves that By-law Number 3978/71 to amend By-law 3036 as
amended be now read a second time, and that Counéil go into
Committee of the Whole thereon.
Adjournment
Moved by Councillor R. Chatten, seconded by Deputy Reeve
G. Ashe, that Council adjourn to convene into Committee of
the Whole at 8:20 p.m.
