Resolution #162/73
MOVED by Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Councillor
J. Anderson, that whereas Mr. D. J. Plitz, Township
Clerk submitted his resignation, effective June 29th,
1973%
AND WHEREAS Mr. D. J. Plitz has served the Township of
Picketing in several and different capacities since 1954,
his resignation as Clerk of the Township of Picketing
is accepted with deep regret and the Council wishes
Mr. Plitz success and satisfaction in his new venture.

By-Law Number 4381/73
Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Councillor D. Quick,
moves for leave to introduce a By-law of the Township
of Picketing to appoint an Acting Clerk (J. R. Boxma),
and that same now be read a first time.
Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Councillor Mrs. J. L.
McPherson, moves that By-law Number q381/73 to appoint
an Acting Clerk (J. R. Boxma) be now read a second time,
and that Council go into Committee of the %Unole thereon.
The Committee of the Whole arises and reports the By-law
as read.
Councillor D. Kitchen, seconded by Deputy Reeve G. Ashe,
moves that the report of the Coma%ittee of the Whole on
By-law Number 4381/73 be adopted, and that the said
By-law be now read a Third Time and PASSED, that the Reeve
and Deputy Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the
Co~poration be affixed thereto.
CARRIED
Moved by Councillor Kitchen and seconded by M~s. McPherson,
that the Council reconvene into Closed Session of the
