COUNCIL MEETING
A Meeting of the Pickering Town Council
was held on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14th 1977
at 8:33 P.M.

RESOLUTIONS
In a letter dated November 7th 1977, Mr. A.W. Neid
Project Manager, Real Estate, New Toronto International
Airport Project, submits a letter of acceptance for
execution for final settlement for property owned
by the Town and expropriated by the Federal Government.

Moved by Councillor Fisher, seconded by Councillor
Geraghty that the terms of settlement detailed in the
letter of November 7th 1977 from Public Works Canada
with respect to the expropriation of the following
properties:
A tha Communi ty Centre
Part Lot 30, Concession 7
Brougham Hotel and Garage
Part Lot 19, Concession 6
Altona Community Centre
Part Lot 31, Concession 9
Brougham Town Hall
Part Lot 18, Concession 5
Don Beer Memorial Park
Part Lot 18, Concession 6
be accepted and that the Mayor and Clerk be authorized
to accept the offer of the Federal Government in the
amount of $392,990.96, consisting of $290,000.00
plus interest of $102,990.96 as full and final settle-
ment for the expropriation of these properties.
