MOVED by Councillor Kitchen, seconded by Councillor
Robertson that the Executive Committee Report #1 of
June 9th 1975, be. adopted.
CARRIED
Resolution 191/75
MOVED by Councillor Robertson, seconded by Councillor
Kitchen that the Town of Pickering utilize the funds
from the Condominium Development on Block Y, Plan M-16
to reduce the capital borrowing costs on the Bay Ridges
Community Centre.

MOVED by Councillor Spratley, seconded by Councillor
Kitchen that the meeting adjourn to Closed Session
at the hour of 9:45 P.M.

APPENDIX I
REPORT' 1 OF THE EXECUTIVE CCHfITTEE OF JUNE 9th 1975
The Executive Committee presents its Report and respectfully
reports and recommends as follows:
1.
BAY RIDGES COMMUNITY CENTRE
That the report of the Director of Recreation
and Transportation dated April 29th 1975, with
respect to the Bay Ridges Community Centre be
adopted with the total cost of the project
set at $251,000.00 of which 25\ or $62,750~00
will be available in grants from the Ministry
of CUlture and Recreation,
AND FURTHER, that Mr. T. William Beddall be
appointed as the Project Manager.
2.
1975 CAPITAL EXPENDITURES -
BAY RIDGES COMMUNITY CENTRE
That the Treasurer be authorized to continue
with the processing of the financing required
for the Bay Ridqes Community Centre and that
.the comments of the Director of Recreation and
Transportation made in his report to the
Administrator-Clerk dated May 23rd 1975, on
the need for this project be endorsed.
