PRESENT: Mayor J. Anderson COUNCILLORS: L. Cahill D. Dickerson G. Fisher N. Geraghty D. Kitchen K. Matheson ALSO PRESENT: N.C. Marshall B. Taylor R. Tsao Town Manager Town Clerk Planning Director This Special Meeting of Council was called to consider the following Resolution and By-laws: (I) RESOLUTION Resolution 128/79 Moved by Councillor Cahill Seconded by Councillor Dickerson That Section 4(a) of the Brock East Development Plan dated July 1979 be deleted and replaced by the following passage: "In order to avoid prejudicing future development, land currently zoned Cl shall be rezoned for residential (R3) use as soon as practicable." CARRIED ( II) BY-LAWS Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Dickerson moved for leave to introduce By-laws of the Town of Pickering: By-Law Number 1037/79 Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend Restricted Area By-law 3036, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham on Part of Lot 1, Plan 469, in the Town of Pickering. By-Law Number 1038/79 Being a Restricted Area By-law to amend Restricted Area By-law 2511, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the Town of Pickering District Planning Area Region of Durham, in Part of Lot 28, Range 3, Broken Front Con- cession, in the Town of Pickering. .7 - 103 - 19/79 ( II) BY LAWS (Continued) THIRD READING Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Dickerson moved that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Numbers 1037/79 and 1038/79 be adòpted, and that the said By-laws be now read a Third Time and PASSED, and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto. CARRIED By-laws read a first, second and third time and finally passed. (III) ADJOURNMENT The meeting adjourned at the hour of 7:32 P.M. Dated September 17th 1979 ~/
