COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on
Monday, February 26th at 9:11 p.m.
PRESENT:
Mayor J. Anderson
COUNCILLORS:
L. Cahill
D. Kitchen
K. Matheson
ALSO PRESENT:
N.C. Marshall - Town Manager
B. Taylor - Town Clerk
ABSENT:
Councillor Dickerson (Regional Business)
Councillor Fisher (On vacation)
Councillor Geraghty (On vacation)
The purpose of this Special Meeting of Council was to authorize
the execution of an agreement with Alpa Lumber Inc., respecting
land in Part Lot 18, Range 3, Broken Front Concession.
(I)
BY-LAW
By-Law Number 961/79
Councillot Cahill, seconded by Councillor Matheson moved for
leave to introduce a by-law of the Town of Pickering to authorize
the execution of an Agreement between the Corporation of the
Town of Pickering and Alpa Lumber Inc., respecting Part Lot 18,
Range 3, Broken Front Concession (Part 2 and 3, Plan 40R-3l58),
and that same be now read a first, second and third time and
that the same be now finally passed and that the Mayor and
Clerk sign the same and that the Seal of the Corporation be
thereto affixed.
CARRIED
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed.

The meeting adjourned at the hour of 9:12 p.m.
