COUNCIL MINUTES
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on
Monday, May 13, 1985 at 7:30 p.m.
Pursuant to By-law 3714 (Procedural By-law), this Special Meeting
was called to consider By-law Number 2017/85 which will exempt
Block 132, Plan 40M-1333, Pickering, from part lot control.

RESOLUTION
Resolution #36/85
Moved by Councillor Stoner
Seconded by Councillor Arthurs
That Town Council advise Regional Council and the Ministry of
Municipal Affairs and Housing as follows:
a)
That it supports modifications to Amendment Numbers 2 and 5
to the Pickering District Plan as outlined in Appendix I to
Town Planning Report * 28/85.
b)
That it requests the enactment of amendments to Amendment
Numbers 2 and 5 to the Pickering District Plan as outlined in
Appendix II to Town Planning Report * 28/85;
and that Town Council advise Regional Council that it supports the
adoption of an amendment to the Durham Regional Official Plan as
outlined in the Regional Planning Commissioner's Report No. 85-56
and attached as Attachment No.3 to Town Planning Report #28/85.

BY-LAWS
Councillor Stoner, seconded by Councillor Arthurs moved for leave
to introduce a by-law of the Town of Pickering:
By-law Number 2017/85
Being a by-law to exempt Block 132, Plan 40M-1333, Pickering from
part lot control.
THIRD READING
Councillor Stoner, seconded by Councillor Arthurs moved that the
report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Number 2017/85,
be adopted, and that the said By-law be now read a Third Time and
PASSED, and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and the seal of
the Corporation be affixed thereto.
