SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on
December 12, 1983 at 7:30 p.m.
Pursuant to By-law 3714 (Procedural By-law), this Special Meeting
was called to consider draft By-law Number 1766/83 to amend By-law
1609/83 authorizing the temporary borrowing of up to $3,000,000.00
at anyone time and to consider draft by-laws 1767/83 and 1768/83
to exempt various lots from part lot control in Plans 40M-1257 and
40M-1272.

BY -LAWS
Councillor Cahill seconded by Councillor Stoner moved for leave to
introduce By-laws of the Town or Pickering:
By-law Number 1766/83
Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 1609/83 authorizing the
temporary borrowing of up to $3,000,000.00 at anyone time.
By-law Number 1767/83
Being a by-law to exempt Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, Plan
40M-1257, Pickering, from part lot control.
By-law Number 1768/83
Being a by-law to exempt Lots 21, 22, 23, 24 and 58, and Blocks 72
and 75 Plan 40M-1272, Pickering, from part lot control.

THIRD READING
Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Stoner moved that the
report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Numbers 1766/83,
1767/83 and 1768/83 be adopted, and that the said By-laws be now
read a Third Time and PASSED, and that the Mayor and Clerk sign
the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto.
CARRIED
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed.
