SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on
November 28, 1983 at 7:30 p.m.
Pursuant to By-law 3714 (Procedural By-law), this Special Meeting
was called to approve an offer to purchase Part Lots 27 and 28,
Plan 12 for the expansion of the Claremont Library property.

Councillor Stoner seconded by Councillor Cahill moved for leave to
introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering:
By-law Number 1759/83
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of an offer to purchase
Part Lots 27 and 28, Plan 12, Pickering (Claremont Library)
THIRD READING
Councillor Stoner, seconded by Councillor Cahill moved that the
report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Number 1759/83, be
adopted, and that the said By-law be now read a Third Time and
PASSED, and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal
of the Corporation be affixed thereto.
CARRIED
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed.
