SPECIAL COUNCIL-MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held
on Wednesday, July 20th 1983 at 3:54 p.m.

Mayor J.E. Anderson
COUNCILLORS:

ALSO PRESENT:
B. Taylor - Town Clerk
Pursuant to By-law 3714 (Procedural By-law), this Special
Meeting was called to discuss the location of the Toronto
Disposal Services.

Resolution-#71/SJ
Moved by Councillor Stoner
Seconded by Councillor Arthurs
That the Council of the Town of Pickering deems that the
location of the Toronto Disposal Services operations at
963-975 Brock Road, Units 8 and 9 in the Town of Pickering
are unsuitable because of the commercial operations in
the area.
CARRIED
