SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held
on August 9th 1982 at 4:30 P.M.
Pursuant to Section 2010.4 of The Municipal Code, this
Special Meeting was called to approve a tender for the
construction of the second phase of the Recreation Compled.

RESOLUTIONS
Resolution #66/82
Moved by Councillor Fisher
Seconded by Councillor Byers
That the tender submitted by Ellis Don Limited, in the
amount of $5,507,000.00 for the Recreation Complex, Stage
2, be accepted;
and that Beddall Shukla Partnership be authorized to negot-
iate with Ellis Don Limited regarding any possible savings
that could be achieved in the Contract Price, before the
Town enters into a formal contract.

That the recommended modifications to the Dun-
barton Community Plan as outlined in Appendix
III to Planning Report #27/82 be endorsed with
the exception that the proposed addition of
a separate school designation to Schedule
IV-A in modification #4 be deleted.
4.
That the recommended modifications to the High-
bush Community Plan as outlined in Appendix
IV to Planning Report #27/82 be endorsed and
forwarded to the Council of the Regional Munici-
pality of Durham for approval;
5.
That the recommended modifications to the Liver-
pool Community Plan as outlined in Appendix
V to Planning Report #27/82 be endorsed and
forwarded to the Council of the Regional Munici-
pality of Durham for approval;
That the recommended modifications to the Brock
Industrial Area Community Plan as outlined
in Appendix VI to Planning Report #27/82 be
endorsed and forwarded to the Council of the
Regional Municipality of Durham for approval.
