Taylor - Town Clerk (1) ADOPTION OF MINUTES Regular Meeting of March 1, 1982 Special Meeting of March 8, 1982 (II) RESOLUTIONS Resolution #29/82 - See Appendix #1 Moved by Councillor Fisher Seconded by Councillor Cahill That the Report of the Executive Committee dated March 8, 1982, be adopted with the following amendment: Item #16 was amended by deleting the word "refused" and substituting therefor the word "approved". CARRIED 10/82 - 39 - Resolution #30/82 - See Appendix #2 Moved by Councillor Fisher Seconded by Councillor Stoner That the Report of the Planning Committee dated March 9, 1982, be adopted with the following amendment: Item #10 was amended by deleting the entire item and sub- stituting therefor the following: "That the Tender submitted by Triodetic Building Products Limited for the fabrication and installation of the space frame system for the Recreation Complex be approved." CARRIED Resolution #31/82 Moved by Councillor Cahill Seconded by Councillor Stoner That the Town of Pickering request the Toronto and Area Transit Operating Authority to study the feasibility of fare integration between Pickering Transit and GO Transit. CARRIED (III) BY-LAWS Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Robertson moved for leave to introduce By-laws of the Town of Pickering: By-law Number 1459/82 To authorize the execution of a Demolition Agreement between The Durham Region Roman Catholic Separate School Board and the Corporation of the Town of Pickering respecting Part Lot 24, Concession 2, Pickering (Parts 11, 12 and 13, Plan 40R-5723) (LD 73/80) 10/82 - 40 - By-law Number 1460/82 To authorize the execution of a Release by the Corporation of the Town of Pickering of Hans J. Weber and Elisabeth K. Weber from a Demolition Agreement respecting lots 111 and 112, Plan 283, Pickering. By-law Number 1461/82 To amend By-law 1416/82, providing for the regulation and licensing of places of amusement. By-law Number 1462/82 To amend By-law 1047/79, as amended, fixing the salaries of the Commissioners of the Pickering Hydro-Electric Comm- ission. THIRD READING Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Byers moved that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Numbers 1459/82, 1460/82, 1461/82 and 1462/82 be adopted, and that the said By-laws be now read a Third Time and PASSED and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same, and the Seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto. CARRIED By-laws read a first, second and third time and finally passed. (IV) 1. OTHER BUSINESS Councillor Stoner reported that there was seepage from the Beare Road Landfill Site into the Rouge River on March 13, 1982 and the Metro Commission of Works will be investigating this. The Comm- issioner will also be investigating the odours which are eminating from the Liverpool Landfill Site. 10/82 - 41 - (V) CONFIRMATION BY-LAW By-law Number 1463/82 Councillor Cahill, seconded by Councillor Byers moved for leave to introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering at its meeting held on March 15, 1982, and that same be now read a first, second and third time and that the same be now finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and that the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed. REZONING APPLICATION - BRAMALEA LIMITED WEST SIDE OF WHITE'S ROAD FILE NUMBER - B2310 - A 78/80 That By-law 1340/81 is in conformity with the Official Plan of the Region of Durham and in force at the time this by-law was passed, name- ly the 6th day of July, 1981; and that no further official plan has been proposed by Council nor approved by the Ministry of Housing since the passing of said By-law 1340/81 in which the said by-law would not be in conformity. 2.
