By-law No. 7473/16
Being a by-law to exempt certain lands within
the City of Pickering, from the part lot control
provisions of the Planning Act.
Whereas pursuant to the provisions of section 50(7) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990,
chapter P.13, as amended, the Council of a municipality may by by-law provide that
section 50(5) of the Act does not apply to certain lands within a plan of subdivision
designated in the by-law;
Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as
follows:
1. Section 50(5)of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P.13, as amended shall
cease to apply to:
(a) . Part of Lot 24, Registered Plan 329, being Parts 1 to 7,
(b) Block 45, Plan 40M-1700, being Part 8,
(c) Part Block 44, Plan 40M-1700, being Part 9,
(d) Block 13, Plan 40M-1861, being Parts 10, 11 and 12,
(e) Block 14, Plan 40M-1861, being Part 13,
(f) Part of Nordane Drive (stopped-up and closed by By-law 7294/13 as in
DR1231590), Plan 40M-1861, being Parts 14, 15 and 16,
(g) Block 17, Plan 40M-1861, being Parts 17, 18; 19 and 20, and
(h) Block.15, Plan 40M-1861, being Part 21,
all shown on Plan 40R-29047.
2. This by-law shall remain in force and effect for a period of two years from the
date of the passing of this by-law and shall expire on March 29, 2018.
