SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on Monday,
November 21, 1988 at 7:30 p.m.

(I) BY-LAW
Councillor Arthurs, seconded by Councillor Mitchell, moved for leave
to introduce by-laws of the Town of Pickering.
By-law 2873/88 - Third Reading Only
Being a by-law to stop-up and close part of Front Street and part of
Bay Street, Plan 65, Pickerin§ (Parts 1-4, Plan 40R-8508) and to
authorize the sale of a part thereof to the abutting owner.

Being a by-law to stop-up and close Penny Lane, Plan M-997, Pickering
and to authorize the sale of parts thereof and of Block XH, Plan
M-997, Pickering, to the abutting owners.
By-law Number 2950/88
Being a by-law to exempt Lots 20-22, 26-34, Plan 40M-1511, Pickering,
from part lot control.
By-law Number 2951/88
Being a by-law to exempt Lots 36, 37, 38, 43, 44 and 45, Plan
40M-1466, Pickerin9, from part lot control.
THIRD READING
Councillor Arthurs, seconded by Councillor Mitchell moved that the
report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Numbers 2873/88,
2875/88, 2950/88 and 2951/88 be adopted, and that the said By-laws be
now read a Third Time and PASSED, and that the Mayor and Clerk sign
the same and the seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto.
