(II ) PRESENTATION The Mayor conducted the PACT draw. (III) 1. DELEGATIONS 8 Br; an Parker, Fasken Campbell Godfrey, on behalf of Vinjohn Developments Limited, addressed Council with respect to Rezoning Application A7/9l. See Resolution #210/91 20/91 72 (III) DELEGATIONS - continued 2. Joe Chisholm, 41 Horner Avenue, Toronto, representing Geodimeter, addressed Council with respect to Quotation Q-22-9l. He stated that the survey data collection equipment he supplies is used by other municipalities and free training is offered by the Regi on of Durham. CARRIED Resolution 1210/91 Moved by Councillor Higdon Seconded by Councillor Van Kempen That Zoning By-law Amendment Application A 7/91, submitted by Fasken Campbell Godfrey on behalf of Vinjohn Developments Limited, on lands being Block 1, Plan 40M-1236, Town of Pickering to add IIretail store as a permitted use and to establ i sh a maximum gross floor area of 325 square metres for any individual IIretail storell, be APPROVED. CARRIED Resolution #213/91 8 Moved by Councillor Brenner Seconded by Councillor Wellman That the Corporati on of the Town of Pi ckeri ng hereby recogni zes and supports the Steeple Hill Neighbourhood Watch; and that the Town be responsible for the erection and maintenance of signs on behalf of the Steeple Hill Neighbourhood Watch. CARRIED Resolution '214/91 Moved by Councillor Wellman Seconded by Councillor Brenner That a grant in the amount of $165 be made to the Ajax/Pickering Hospital expansion fundraising campaign; and that thi s amount be charged to Account 2195 (Grants to Organizations and Individuals). CARRIED 8 20/91 74 Resolution '215/91 8 Moved by Councillor Brenner Seconded by Councillor Johnson That a grant; n the amount of $1,000 for the Annual Employees Christmas Dance to be held on December 14, 1991 be approved and that the cost of the rental of the Recreation Complex for this event be waived; and that these amounts be charged to Account 2195 (Grants to Organizations and Individuals). CARRIED Resolution #216/91 Moved by Councillor Johnson Seconded by Councillor Van Kempen That funding of $75,000 be allocated from the 1991 budget to cover the cost of engineering design fees, after subsidy, pertaining to the reconstruction of White IS Road from Finch Avenue To Taunton Road. AMENDMENT TO CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL IN REZONING APPLICATION A5/89 SUBMITTED BY TRILEA HOLDINGS LTD.
