(II ) 1. 8 ADOPTION OF MINUTES DELEGATIONS Mr. George Martin, representing the Greenwood and Area Ratepayers Association, addressed Council with respect to a development application submitted by ERS Holdings and Ray Wi nterstei n Masonry Limi ted in Lots 1 and 2 in Concession 9. He stated that all Members of Council were not present at the Executive Committee Meeting of March 11, 1991 when thi s item was cons; dered. Thi s deve 1 opment does not comp 1 y wi th the Offi ci a 1 P1 an, the Town's Estate Residential Development Policies and various other planning documents. Mr. Martin stressed that the subject 1 ands are located in the Oak R; dges Morrain which is sensitive to development and must be protected. He stated that he has a letter from the Pickering Rural Association objecting to this application. See Items 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Executive Conmittee Report. 5/91 27 (III) RESOLUTI ONS Resolution #24/91 Moved by Councillor Johnson Seconded by Councillor Mitchell That the following motion be d~ferred for two weeks: 8 That Pickering Town Council approval of Draft Plan of Subdivison 18T -85006 recommended to Regi ona 1 Counci 1 be amended by rescinding the Council reconmended plan dated December 17, 1990 and substituting thereto the applicant's proposed revision dated December 7, 1990, noted as preliminary site concept 2 prepared by planning consultants, Walker, Wright, Young Associates Limited. (A 58/89; l8T-89ll9) THIRD READING Councill or Dickerson, seconded by Councill or Johnson moved that the report of the Conmittee of the Whole on By-l aw Numbers 3677 /90, 3678/91, 3679/91, 3680/91, 3681/91, 3682/91, 3683/91, 3684/91, 3685/91 and 3686/91 be adopted and the said by-laws be now read a thi rd time and PASSED and that the Mayor and C1 erk sign the same and the seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto. 8 CARRIED (V) CONFIRMATION BY-LAW By-law Number 3687/91 Councillor Mitchell, seconded by Councillor Dickerson moved for leave to introduce a By-law of the Town of Pickering to confirm those proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering at its meeting held on the 18th day of March, 1991 and that the same be now read a first, second and third time and that the same be now finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and that the Seal of the Corporation be thereto affixed. QUOTATION Q-7-91 FOR SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF PC EQUIPMENT FILE NUMBER - C 4300 That Quotati on Q-7 -91 submitted by CADWorks Inc. for the supply and installation of required PC equipment in the amount of $64,107.36 be accepted. RADIO LICENCE FEES FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT FILE NUMBER - F 2420 That an over-expendi ture in Account 2240-2478 in the amount of $2,000 to provide for the payment of Radio Licence Fees be approved. PROPOSED DURHAM REGION TREE CONSERVATION BY-LAW FILE NUMBER - A 2200 That Legal Report L 30/91 respecting the Proposed Durham Region Tree Conservation By-law be received, the recommendations contained therein adopted and forwarded to the Commissioner of Planning at the Region of Durham.
