Brenner - Acting Mayor R. Johnson Councillor Pistritto D. Wellman ALSO PRESENT: C.M.T. Sheffield B. Taylor - Town Solicitor - Town Clerk ABSENT : 8 Mayor Arthurs - (ill) Councillor Higdon Councillor Van Kempen This Special Meeting of Council was called by the Acting Mayor pursuant to Section 3 of By-law Number 3665/91 (Procedural BY-law) to consider a motion to authorize the use of a Town-owned vehicle on July 7, 1992 to participate in a "No Dumps" rally at Queen's Park. Resolution #115/92 Moved by Councillor Johnson Seconded by Councillor Pistritto That the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby re-affirms its support of past resolutions objecting to the establishment of landfill sites in the Town of Pickering as outlined in Resolution Numbers 147/86, 150/86, 33/89, 56/89, 104/89, 27/90, 129190 and 134190; and that the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby authorizes the use of a Town-owned vehicle on July 7, 1992 to participate in the "No Dumps" rally at Queen's Park. 8 Resolution #116/92 Moved by Councillor Pistritto Seconded by Councillor Wellman That the above motion be divided.
