SPECIAL COUNCIL MINUTES
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on Monday, September 27,
1993 at 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of this Special Meeting of Council was to consider a by-law to ratify
Amendment No.1 to the Bargaining Unit Local Agreement with Canadian Union of
Public Employees Local 129 under the Social Contract Act, 1993,

BY-LAWS
Councillor Wellman seconded by Councillor Higdon moved for leave to introduce the
following by-law of the Town of Pickering:
By-law Number 4318/93
Being a by-law to ratify Amendment No.1 to the Bargaining Unit Local Agreement with
Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 129 under the Local Contract Act, 1993,
CARRIED
Councillor Wellman, seconded by Councillor Higdon, moved that By-law Number
4318/93 be adopted and the said by-law be now read a third time and PASSED and that
the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and the seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto.
CARRIED
