COUNCIL MINUTES
• A Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on Monday, December 18, 1995 at
7:30 p.m..
PRESENT:
Mayor Wayne Arthurs
COUNCILLORS:
M. Brenner
R. Johnson

D. Ryan
S. Senis
AISO PRESENT:
C.M.T. Sheffield - Town Manager
T.J. Quinn - Executive Director of Operations
B. Taylor - Town Clerk
N. Carroll - Director of Planning
Mayor Arthurs gave a testimonial speech for Councilor David Farr who passed away on
December 17, 1995,
Resolution #262/95
Moved by Councillor Ryan
Seconded by Councillor Senis
That a grant in the amount of $10,000.00 be made to the Ajax-Pickering Hospital
Foundation in memory of Councillor David Farr; and
That this amount be charged to Account 2195 (Grants to Organizations and Individuals).
CARRIED
Recorded Vote:
Yes: Councillors Brenner, Johnson, Pistritto, Ryan, Senis and Mayor Arthurs
Council considered the following amendment in conjunction with Resolution #262/95:

That the amount of the grant to be made to the Ajax-Pickering Hospital Foundation in
memory of Councillor David Farr be changed from $1,000 to $10,000.
