SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on Monday, December 22,
1997 at 7:00 p.m.

Resolution #474/97
Moved by Councillor Johnson
Seconded by Councillor Ryan
That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c M.45, as amended,
the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting to consider personnel matters.

Members of Council considered Clerk's Report CL 52/97 regarding Appointments to
Agencies, Boards and Committees and made appointments.
Council recessed this In Camera Meeting at 7:40 p.m. to go into its regular open session
and reconvened at 8:45 p.m.

Seconded by Councillor Dickerson
That the Council of the Town of Pickering hereby directs Mayor Arthurs to authorize a
compensation adjustment for the General Manager for the year 1997 as per the Mayor's
verbal report to Council at this In Camera Meeting.
