SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on Monday, June 15, 1998 at
7:30 p.m.

Resolution #110/98
Moved by Councillor Holland
Seconded by Councillor Ryan
That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c MAS, as amended,
the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting to consider a matter oflitigation, personnel and a land transaction.

The Town Solicitor reported that the issue of the purchase of five properties on the east
side of Victoria Street in Claremont for additional parking for the Claremont Community
Centre and Park was tabled and asked if Council wanted to lift this matter from the table
and seek appraisals for the acquisition of these properties. Council directed that this
matter remain tabled.
