SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on, Wednesday, June 10,
1998 at 5:00 p.m.

AUTHORITY TO MEET IN CAMERA
Resolution #113/98
Moved by Councillor Holland
Seconded by Councillor Dickerson
That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c MA5, as amended,
the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting to consider a matter of litigation.
CARRIED
Council considered a memorandum from the Director of Planning dated June 8, 1998 and
a Confidential memorandum from the Director of Planning also dated June 8, 1998
regarding the decision of the Committee of Adjustment respecting PICA 34/98 by Gazarek
Realty Holdings Ltd. Council directed that no appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board be
made with respect to this decision and noted that control measures will be implemented
through the site plan process.
