AUTHORITY TO MEET IN CAMERA

Moved by Councillor Ryan
Seconded by Councillor Johnson
That pursuant to Section 55(7) ofthe Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c MAS, as amended,
the Council ofthe Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting to consider a personnel matter.

That the General Manager and Director of Human Resources, with the advice of the
Lawfirm of Hicks, Morley, be authorized to negotiate a settlement package for the
Treasurer-Collector; and
That the General Manager report back to Council on the status of these negotiations no
later than April 30, 1998.
