SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering Town Council was held on Monday, June 14th, 1999
at 7:12 p.m.

AUTHORITY TO MEET IN CAMERA
Resolution #125/99
Moved by Councillor Ryan
Seconded by Councillor Holland
That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c MA5, as amended,
the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting to consider personnel matter and land acquisition.

That the decisions of the Committee of Adjustment with respect to PICA 33/99 and PICA
36/99, D. and K. Storey and PICA 28/99, Sena Homes Inc. be appealed to the Ontario

That the Chief Administrative Officer enter into negotiations with Mr. Priest for the
acquisition of his property at a value not to exceed the appraisal value.
CARRIED
Councillor Ryan requested a status report from the Chief Administrative Officer on the
possible acquisition of the property at the corner of Rose bank Road and Sheppard Avenue
for the potential realignment of Sheppard Avenue.
