AUTHORITY TO MEET IN CAMERA

Seconded by Councillor Holland
That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c MA5, as amended, the
Council of the Corporation of the Town of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a meeting to
consider personnel matters.

That the Memorandum of Settlement with CUPE Local 129 dated May 1, 1999 be approved and
the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the Collective Agreement and other
documents related thereto.

That the remuneration package set out in the said Memorandum of Settlement be applicable to the
non-union staff with applicable adjustments to the implementation dates.
CARRIED
The Chief Administrative Officer advised that a Report would be coming forward to Council
concerning the matter respecting Mr. Richard Ward.
