'SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Pickering City Council was held on Monday, June 12th, 2000 at
7:05 p.m.

AUTHORITY TO MEET IN CAMERA

That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c M.45, as amended,
the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting to consider a personnel matter.

1. That Report to Council CAO 11-00, concerning the provision for Legal Services for
The Corporation of the City of Pickering be received.
2. That City Council authorize the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding
between the Corporation of the City of Pickering and the law firm of Reble Ritchie
Green and Ketcheson (Reble Ritchie) to act as legal counsel to the City by increasing
the scope of their current retainer to provide for ongoing daily legal services to the
Corporation.
