AUTHORITY TO MEET IN CAMERA

That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, RS.O. 1990, c M.45, as amended,
the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting to consider a litigation matter.

That the Solicitors for the City be requested to attend and participate at the Ontario
Municipal Board hearing with respect to the Development Applications by Cougs
Investments Limited for residential development in the Town of Ajax, on the north-east
side of the existing Deer Creek Golf Course, west of Audley Road and south of the Fifth
Concession Road, with direction to protect the City's interests in the upgrading and
extension of the Fifth Concession Road between Sideline 4 and Audley Road.
