Brenner D. Dickerson M. Holland R. Johnson D. Pickles D. Ryan ALSO PRESENT: - T. J. Quinn N. Carroll B. Taylor - Chief Administrative Officer - Director, Planning & Development - City Clerk (I) ADOPTION OF MINUTES Regular Meeting of October 16,2000 Special Meeting of October 16,2000 (II) RESOLUTIONS Resolution #151/00 - Appendix #1 Moved by Councillor Dickerson Seconded by Councillor Johnson That the Report of the Executive Committee dated November 20th, 2000, be adopted. CARRIED Resolution #152/00 - Moved by Councillor Johnson Seconded by Councillor Dickerson That the modification to By-law 5770100 to include Lot 14 and the abutting lot described as Part 4, Plan 40RM19900 is technical and minor in nature and not affecting the general intent and purpose of the By-law, therefore, no further notice is required to be given with respect to By-law 5770100. CARRIED --2-- (III) ]J1{-LJ\~S That Councillor Johnson, seconded by Councillor Dickerson, took leave to introduce by- laws ofthe City of Pickering: - By-law Number 5770100 Being a by-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 3036, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the City of Pickering District Planning Area, Region of Durham in Parts of Lots 4 and 5, Plan 282 in the City of Pickering. (A 12/98 & 18T- 98007) By-law Number 5771/00 Being a by-law to assume services under the jurisdiction of the City respecting the development of Lots 1-7,38-43 and Blocks 46 and 47 in Plan 40M-1507, Pickering. By-law Number 5772/00 Being a by-law to name Blocks 30 and 31, Plan 40M-2014 (Frontier Court). By-law Number 5773/00 Being a by-law to dedicate Blocks 31 and 32, Plan 40M-2014 (Frontier Court) as public highway. By-law Number 5774/00 - Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation - 1210 & 1235 Radom St., 1958 & 1975 Rosefield Rd., 1625, 1635 & 1655 Pickering Pkwy., 1525/35 Diefenbaker, 1530/40 Pickering Pkwy., 1400 The Esplanade, Casitas, 925 Bayly St., 1360 Glenanna Rd., 580 Eyer Dr., 1880/1890 Valley Farm Rd., 1822 Whites Rd., Amberlea Plaza, 979 Brock Rd., 905 & 1735 Bayly St., 1915 Denmar Rd., 1310 Fieldlight Blvd. and 1345 Altona Rd. By-law Number 5775/00 Being a by-law to exempt Lot 6, Plan 40M-1981, Pickering from part lot control. By-law Number 5776/00 Being a by-law to dedicate Block 37, Plan 40M-1877 (Rouge Forest Crescent) as public highway. By-law Number 5777/00 Being a by-law to dedicate Block 9, Plan 40M-1906 (Pinegrove Avenue) as public highway. CARRIED - THIRD READING: Councillor Johnson, seconded by Councillor Dickerson moved that the report of the Committee of the Whole on By-law Numbers 5770100, 5771/00, 5772/00, 5773/00, 5774/00, 5775/00, 5776/00 and 5777/00 be adopted and the said by-laws be now read a third time and PASSED and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and the seal of the Corporation be affixed thereto. CJ\RRIED --3-- (IV) CONFIRMATION BY-LAW By-law Number 5778/00 -- Councillor Dickerson, seconded by Councillor Ryan, moved for leave to introduce a By- law of the City of Pickering to confinn those proceedings of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering at its Regular Council Meeting of November 20, 2000 and that the same be now finally passed and that the Mayor and Clerk sign the same and that the Seal ofthe Corporation be thereto affixed.
