(I) AUTHORITY TO MEET IN CAMERA
The Chair asked if there were any objections from Members of Council with respect to
holding this Special Meeting and no objections were given.
Resolution #78/01
Moved by Councillor Brenner
Seconded by Councillor Pickles
That pursuant to Section 55(7) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c MA5, as amended,
the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct a
meeting to consider a potential litigation matter.
CARRIED
John Reble, Solicitor for the City, addressed Council regarding potential liability issues
and the licensing and regulating of adult videotape stores.
