HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 7410/15 The Corporation of the City of Pickering By-law No. 7410/15 • Being a By-law to amend Restricted Area (Zoning) By-law 2511, as amended, to implement the Official Plan of the City of Pickering, Region of Durham, being Lot 20, Plan M89 (1283 Wharf Street), City of Pickering (A 4/15) Whereas the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering passed By-law 7383/14, amending By-law 2511, to rezone the subject lands being Lot 20, Plan M89, in the City of Pickering to permit the development of 4 townhouse units; And whereas By-law 7383/14 includes an "(H)" Holding Symbol preceding the "SA-22" Zone on Lot 20, Plan M89, which has the effect of preventing the development of the lands until such time as the Owner has entered into a Development Agreement with and to the satisfaction of the City; and has submitted a revised Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessment Report to the satisfaction of the Region of Durham; And whereas the Owner has entered into an appropriate agreement to the City's satisfaction and has submitted a revised Ph ase 1 Environmental Site Assessment to the Region's satisfaction; And whereas an amendment to amending By-law 7383/14, to remove the "(H)" Holding Symbol preceding the "SA-22" Zone on Lot 20, Plan M89 is therefore deemed appropriate; Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as follows: 1. Schedule Schedule Ito By-law 7383/14 is hereby amended by removing the "(H)" Holding Symbol preceding the "SA-22" Zone designation on Lot 20, Plan M89 as set out on Schedule I attached hereto. 2. Text Amendment • Section 6 of By-law 7383/14 is hereby repealed. 3. Area Restricted • By-law 2511, as amended by By-law 7383/14, is hereby further amended only to the extent necessary to give effect to the provisions of this By-law as set out in Section 2. above, and as set out in Schedule I attached hereto. Definitions and subject matter not specifically dealt with in this by-law shall be governed by the relevant provisions of By-law 2511, as amended. • By-law No. 7410/15 Page 2 4.
