Taylor - Manager, Development Review The Manager, Development Review, provided an overview of the requirements of the Planning Act and the Ontario Municipal Board respecting this meeting and matters under consideration there at. (I) DRAFT PLAN OF SUBDIVISION S-P-2002-03 FRED CAMPETELLI, TRUSTEE (COMMERCIAL DEVCO INC.) PART OF LOT 5, CONCESSION 1 (NORTH-EAST CORNER OF VALLEY FARM ROAD AND PICKERING PARKWAY) 1. • Lynda Taylor, Manager, Development Review, provided an explanation of the application, as outlined in Information Report#28-02. 2. Frank Gillanders; Board of Directors, DC93, requested clarification of the height variance applied for on Block 2. 3. Lynda Taylor, Manager, Development Review, clarified that variance was to reduce minimum height required and was approved. 4. William Smyth, 1400 Esplanade, requested clarification of what is proposed and what is permitted on Parts 1 & 2. 5. Lynda Taylor, Manager, Development Review, advised that Block 2 is currently zoned to permit townhomes and the City is processing the site plan for development of 93 townhomes. Lynda further advised that Block 1 is currently zoned to permit townhomes, apartments and mixed uses such as convenience store, bus, office, etc., however, the applicant has submitted a rezoning application, which will be circulated shortly, to permit the addition of a nursing home as a permitted use, to increase maximum height for an apartment and reduce minimum height for townhomes. Leona Savoie, representing Rockport advised that Rockport intends to start sales of the townhomes on Block 2 the weekend of September 28, preservice fall/winter and begin construction in the Spring of 2003.
