HomeMy WebLinkAboutBy-law 7387/14 The Corporation of the City of Pickering By-law No. 7387/14 Being a By-law to amend By-law 6604/05 providing for the regulating of traffic and parking, standing and stopping on highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the City of Pickering and on private and municipal property. Whereas, By-law 6604/05, as amended, provides for the regulating of traffic and parking on highways, private property and municipal property within the City of Pickering; and Whereas, it is deemed expedient to amend Schedule 2 and Schedule 7 to By-law 6604/05 to establish "No Parking" zones on a portion of Glenanna Road, Sandstone Manor, Pickering Parkway and Fernam Street and "Stop Signs" on Seventh Concession Road. Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as follows: 1. Schedule 2 to By—law 6604/05, as amended, is hereby further amended thereto by the following: Schedule 2 No Parking Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 Column 4 Highway Side Limits (From/To) Prohibited Times or Days Add Glenanna Road South Liverpool Road to Anytime • Glendale Drive Glenanna Road North Liverpool Road to Anytime 80 metres west thereof Sandstone Manor West Granite Court to . Anytime 15 metres south thereof By-law No. 7387/14 Page 2 Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 Column 4 Highway Side Limits (From/To) Prohibited Times or Days Add Pickering Parkway North 300 metres east of Anytime Valley Farm Road to 330 metres east of Valley Farm Road Fernam Street West Strouds Lane to 35 Anytime metres north thereof 2. Schedule 7 to By—law 6604/05, as amended, is hereby further amended thereto by the following: Schedule 7 Stop Signs Column 1 Column 2 Highway Compulsory Stop Facing Traffic Add Seventh Concession Seventh Concession Road, eastbound and Road @ Sideline 28 westbound 3. This By-law shall come into force on the date that it is approved by the Council of The City of Pickering and when signs to the effect are installed. By-law passed this 15th day of December, 2014.
