2. Adoption of Minutes - January 26, 2011 All

3. Correspondence - Stephen Little SL
Carried over for discussion to next meeting as S. Little was S. Little to review with

4. Accessibility Awareness Event
The Committee agreed to move date of event to coincide with P. Noronha-Waldriff to
the 25th Rick Hanson Anniversary Relay - scheduled to go forward Rick Hanson
through Pickering on November 5, 2011. relay info to
committee.

Access Awareness Event will operate similar to the meet with events team

5. 2011 Work Plan All
- K. Falconer reviewed the 2010 work plan Committee to confirm
- Committee to review items submitted from S. Little and 2011 work plan at next
S. Wilkinson, and prat 2011 plan together at next meeting meeting: March 23/11
(as S. Wilkinson and S. Little were absent)
6. Proposed Interated Accessibili Re ulation PNW
- P. Noronha-Waldriff reminded Committee that any Committee to forward
comments on the regulation be forwarded to her. She will comments to P.
be meeting with City staff and forwarding comments to Noronha-Waldriff by
the Ministry by the deadline of March 18, 2011 March 11/11
7. Other Business All
7.1) Region of Durham has released Annual Accessibility
Plan (L. Harker e-mailed to Committee)
7.2) Civic Awards - no nominations from Committee this year Committee to keep in
mind nominations for
next year.
7.3) Committee felt that Councillor O'Connell should be K. Falconer to speak to
commended on the Pedestrian Bridge - elevator being Councillor O'Connell
installed prior to next meeting.
7.4) City events that committee can attend with display? P. Noronha-Waldriff to
bring event list to next
meeting.
