By-law No. 7148/11
Being a By-law to amend By-law 6604/05
providing 'for the regulating of parking,
standing and stopping on highways or parts
of highways under, the jurisdiction of the City
of Pickering and on, private and municipal
property.
Whereas, By-law 6604/05, as-amended; provides for the regulating of traffic and parking
on highways, private property and municipal property within the City of Pickering; and;
Whereas,. it is deemed. expedient to amend By-law 6604/05 to establish "No Stopping",
"No Parking" and "School Bus Loading" zones on Liverpool Road.

Now therefore the Council of The Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby enacts as
follows:
1. Schedule 1 " No Stopping" to. By-law 6604/05, as amended, is hereby further
amended thereto by the following:

4. These By-laws shall come into force on the date that they are approved by the
Council of The City of Pickering and when-signs to the effect are erected.
By-law read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 20th day of June
2011.

The Corporation of the City of Pickering
By-Law No. 7149/11
A By-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council of the
Corporation of the City of Pickering at its Meeting
of June 20, 2011.
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 5(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001,.S.O. 2001, c.
M.25, as amended, the powers of a municipality shall be exercised by its council;
and
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 5(3) of the said Act, a municipal power, including
a municipality's capacity, rights, powers and privileges under Section 8 of the
said Act, shall be exercised by by-law unless the municipality is specifically
authorized to do otherwise; and
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient that the proceedings of the Council of the
Corporation of the City of Pickering at this meeting be confirmed and adopted by
By-law;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF
PICKERING ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The actions of the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering at its
Meeting of June 20, 2011 in respect of each recommendation contained
in the Reports of the Committees and each motion and resolution passed
and other action taken by the Council of the Corporation of the City of
Pickering at this meeting, is hereby adopted and confirmed as if all such
proceedings were expressly embodied in this By-law;
.2. The Mayor and proper officials of the Corporation of the City of Pickering
are hereby authorized and directed to do all things necessary to give
effect to the action of the Council of the Corporation of the City of
Pickering referred to in the preceding section hereof;
3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all
documents necessary in that behalf and to affix thereto the Seal of the
Corporation of the City of Pickering.
By-law read a First, Second and Third time and finally passed this 20th day of
June, 2011.
