A Statutory Public Meeting was held by the Pickering Town
Council on Thursday, April 18, 1991 at 7:30 p.m.

Richard Ward, applicant, stated the application
conforms with the Official Plan and requested approval
in principle.

3. Jocelyn Barber, 450 Finch Avenue, requested written
opinions from the Region1s and the Town's solicitors
on whether or not the site is in the urban area. She
expressed her concern with respect to the size of the
proposal on the site and asked what parking ratio is
required. She also felt that the underground storage
tanks could affect the watertable.
4. Richard Ward also requested copies of the Region's and
the Town I s sol icitors opinions on whether or not the
site is included in the urban area and asked that the
application come back to Council with a positive
recommendation.
