A Statutory Public Meeting was held by the Pickering Town
Council on Monday, February 1, 1988 at 7:30 p.m.

(I) PROPOSED BY-LAW NUMBER 266Q/OO
COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR THE BAYVIEW
STREET REHABILITATION AREA
1. An explanation of the by-law was given by the Manager,
Policy and Information Division.
2. Barbara Cillo, on behalf of the East Frenchman's Bay
Village Association, spoke in support of the Staff
Recommended Plan.

Doug Dickerson, a resident of Bay Ridges, spoke in
support of the by-l aw but stated hi s concern wi th
respect to the 30 foot wide roads and the potential
for parking problems in the future.
Mi ke Ci 11 0, 719 Simpson Avenue, spoke in support of
the Staff Recommended Plan and stated that parking
will not pose a problem.

There were no comments from those opposed to by-law.

PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW NUMBER 2661/88 (A 10/87)
SUBMITTED BY JOHN BODDY DEVELOPMENTS LTD.

An explanation of the by-law was given by the Director
of Planning.
Janet Waring, 904 Gablehurst Crescent, spoke in
support of the proposed by-law. She stated that
approval of the by-law will enable the developer to
complete this area of the subdivision and that it is
compatible with other homes.

There were no comments from those opposed to by-law.
