R.S.O. 1990, c. P. 15 ______________________________________________________________________________ FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS: Current Year: Not Applicable ______________________________________________________________________________ EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: N/A ______________________________________________________________________________ BACKGROUND: Correspondence has been received from Group 4 C.P.S. Limited requesting the appointment of By-Law Enforcement Officers for the purpose of enforcing the Parking By-law at DCC #19, 32, 42, 51, 52, 58, 60, 93/106, 136, 139, 152, OCC #2 and 11. In an effort to decrease the number of enforcement by-laws within Pickering, I contacted Group 4 C.P.S. and requested a list of the locations at which they provide by-law enforcement and the officers they wish placed at these locations. Upon receipt of this list a review was undertaken and I noted a number of duplications. I am, therefore, requesting the repeal of 27 by-laws previously approved for Group 4 C.P.S. Limited and, in anticipation of approval, have prepared just one by-law to cover all enforcement officers and locations. ______________________________________________________________________________ ATTACHMENTS: 1.
