SUBJECT: Appointment of a By-law Enforcement Officer to enforce the Parking By-law at 963-979 Brock Road and 1735 Bayly Street - Brock Commercial Centre.
RECOMMENDATION:
That Report #CL 25/98 be received; and
That the draft by-law to appoint one person to enforce the Parking By-law at 963-979 Brock Road and 1735 Bayly Street - Brock Commercial Centre, be forwarded to Council for enactment.

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING
BY-LAW NO.
Being a by-law to appoint By-law Enforcement Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation-
963-979 Brock Road and 1735 Bayly Street - Brock Commercial Centre).
WHEREAS pursuant to the provision of section 15(I) of the Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, chapter P15, as amended, the council of any municipality or trustees of any police village
may appoint one or more municipal law enforcement officers who shall be peace officers for the purpose of enforcing the by-laws of the municipality or police village;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following person is hereby appointed as a municipal law enforcement officer in and for the Town of Pickering and is hereby authorized to enter at all reasonable times upon lands
municipally known as 963-979 Brock Road and 1735 Bayly Street - Brock Commercial Centre:
William Casey
2. The authority granted in section 1 hereto is specifically limited to that set out in section 1, and shall not be deemed, at any time, to exceed the authority set out in section 1.
3. This appointment shall expire upon the person appointed in section 1 hereof ceasing to be an employee of Nemesis Security Services Inc. or upon Nemesis Security Services Inc. ceasing
to be an authorized agent of 963-979 Brock Road and 1735 Bayly Street - Brock Commercial Centre, whichever shall occur first.
BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 15th day of June, 1998.
