Other Business 1.1 Presentation to Council - A presentation was made to Pickering Council at the Executive Meeting of November 8th providing them with a copy of the Heritage Pickering Annual Report for 2004 and an Inventory of Federal Lands. Approximately 60 people were in attendance at this presentation including representatives from the GT AA, Transport Canada and Public Works Canada. John advised that he will be providing a copy of the text John to provide copy and power point presentation made at the Executive of presentation and Meeting to those who have contacted him and Pam text. requesting this information. 1.2 Barclay Designations John advised of his meeting with Bruce Taylor, City Clerk explaining the concerns with proceeding with the designations of the Ever Green Villa and Tullis Cottage. John suggested holding a Durham wide Heritage event, Pam to contact Chairs inviting all outside heritage groups and museum to discuss. representatives. 1.5 Spring Tour of Whitevale Pam and Gordon will be attending a meeting on Saturday, November 20th, to discuss the possibility of a Whitevale spring tour. 1.6 Brock Road Expansion A memo was forwarded to the Region of Durham regarding the expansion of Brock Road and the request for an archeological assessment. 1.7 Designations A discussion took place concerning the material to be - used and the cost to make the designation plaques. i February 12th was decided as the date for the designation ceremony of the Lamorie home, which will tie into Heritage Day. Pam advised that a call was received from Rod Mason wondering if a permit application had been submitted for the Woodruff Tavern and Britton House. She questioned if these home could be considered for designation. There was discussion regarding what should verify procedure be done in the meantime as Heather Thomson indicated that it would be possible to designate a HP committee member to have access to this information. 2.
