John suggested that an Interpretive Station and sculpture be
created to recognize the Baronet of Pickering and that a
submission be made to the post office for the creation of a
stamp. He advised that it is the preference of the post office to
have a submission of both an English and French speaking
individual. He further suggested that a launch be held for the
stamp and the sculpture, inviting dignitaries to attend.
John further requested that concentration be placed on creating
these interpretive stations.
Mark advised that Jamie has the signage portion underway and
where they will be located. He advised that a meeting will
hopefully be held in July with the signage committee and Jamie.
John suggested that the Arts Committee be invited to the July
meeting.
A meeting will be coordinated for July inviting Jamie, Suzanne
Barrett of the Waterfront Trust, Waterfront Committee and the

environmental communit .
Other. Business
Mark presented a map outlining the pontoon boat floating dock,
complete with safety railing, seating and accessible ramp.
A meeting will be held with Committee Members and Bay
Ridges and West Shore Residents concerning the east/west
spit connection.
