PAGE 34 (111) BY-LAWS By-law Number 6323/04 Being a by-law to amend By-law 2359/87 providing for the regulating of parking, standing and stopping on highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the City of Pickering and on private and municipal property. By-law Number 6324~04 Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 6302/04 to appoint By-law Enforcement Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation - 1467 Whites Road, 650 and 705 Kingston Road.) 35 36 (IV) OTHER BUSINESS (V) CONFIRMATION BY-LAW (VI) ADJOURNMENT RESOLUTION OF COUNCIL DATE MOVED BY SECONDED BY That the Executive Committee Report dated May 3, 2004, be adopted. CARRIED: MAYOR THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO.6323/04 Being a By-law to amend By-law 2359/87 providing for the regulating of parking, standing and stopping on highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the City of Pickering and on private and municipal property. WHEREAS, By-law 2359/87, as amended, provides for the regulating of parking, standing and stopping on highways or parts of highways under the jurisdiction of the City of Pickering and on private and municipal property; and WHEREAS, it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 2359/87 to establish "no parking" zones along section of Balaton Avenue. NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: Schedule B to By-Law 2359/87, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding thereto the following item: Highway Side Between/And Prohibited times and days Balaton Avenue South and 44 m west of Kingfisher See Note 1 East Drive and 98 m west of Kingfisher Drive Balaton Avenue North and 103 m west of Fanshaw See Note 1 West place and 167 m west of Fanshaw Place This By-Law shall come into force on the date that it is approved by the Council of The City of Pickering and when signs to the effect are erected. BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 3 day of May 2004. David Ryan, Mayor Bruce Taylor, City Clerk THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING BY-LAW NO. 6324/04 Being a by-law to amend By-law Number 6302/04 to appoint By-law Enforcement Officers for certain purposes (Parking Regulation - 1467 Whites Road, and 650 and 705 Kingston Road.) WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the City of Picketing enacted By-law Number 6302/04 on March 1st, 2004, pursuant to section 15(I) of the Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 15, as amended, a municipal council may appoint persons to enforce the by-laws of the municipality; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PICKERING HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: That Section l(d) of By-law Number 6302/04 is hereby amended by adding lands municipally known as 650 and 705 Kingston Road and by appointing the following additional persons as municipal law enforcement officers: Steven Mintz Steven Calhoun Steven Kuzmanovski That Section l(d) of By-law Number 6302/04 is further amended by deleting the following persons as municipal law enforcement officers: John Cunningham Mathew Jensen Russel Harwood Amanda McFarling That Section 3 of By-law Number 6302/04 is hereby amended by adding 650 and 705 Kingston Road immediately following "1467 Whites Road - Sarah McDonalds Place". BY-LAW read a first, second and third time and finally passed this 3rd day of May, 2004, David Ryan, Mayor Bruce Taylor, Clerk
