Statutory Public Information Meeting

The Manager, Development Review, provided an overview of the requirements of the
Planning Act and the Ontario Municipal Board respecting this meeting and matters
under consideration there at.

CITY INITIATED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT APPLICATION A 23/03
CITY OF PICKERING IN ASSOCIATION WITH PINE RIDGE PARKWAY
LTD. (FORMERLY 1331301 ONTARIO INC.)
LANDS OWNED BY THE CITY OF PICKERING
PART OF LOT 21, CONCESSION 1
AND
LANDS OWNED BY PINE RIDGE PARKWAY LTD.

PART OF LOT 21. CONCESSION
1. Geoff Romanowski, Planner 1, provided an overview of property location,
applicant's proposal and City's official plan policies pertaining to this site, as
outlined in Information Report #25-03.
2. Bob Oldman, representing Pine Ridge Parkway Ltd, had no comments at this
time.
3. Ron Taylor, on behalf of City, acknowledged that the rezoning is being
processed in conjunction with the City's disposition and sale of excess land
procedures.
4. Mr. F. Adriau, is the site supervisor for Pickering Place Apartments and noted
he is looking forward to a well-designed building, taking access and tree
preservation into account and assuring access to the apartments is retained.
