AUTHORITY TO CALL SPECIAL MEETING

Moved by Councillor Ryan
Seconded by Councillor McLean
That Notice of a Special Meeting of Council pursuant to By-law Number 3665/92 having
properly been given and pursuant to Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O.
2001, the Council of the Corporation of the City of Pickering hereby resolves to conduct
a closed meeting to discuss a security matter.

Councillor Ryan raised a security issue with respect to a community agency
concern.
