TIdE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF PICKEPdNG
By-LAW NO. 5~ 6 4/'9 7
Being a by-law to authorize the execution of a Leaso
Agreement between The Corporation of the Town of
Pickering and the Toronto Area Transit Operating
Authority (Go Transit) respecting the use of leased space
at the Picketing Go Station.
WHEREAS, Picketing Council has previously approved 1997 capital funding for the renovation of
space at the Picketing Go Station to be used by Picketing Transit for the purpose of a dispatch office;
and
AND WHEREAS, the Toronto Area Transit Operation Authority (Go Transit) has supplied a Lease
Agreement that meets with the approval of the Department of Transportation and the Town Solicitor;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Picketing HEREBY ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute a Lease Agreement, in the form attached
hereto as Schedule A, between The Corporation of the Town of Picketing and the Toronto Area
Transit Operating Authority (Go Transit).
